Truth and Reconciliation Commission: Recommendation #30
A criminal record creates barriers in rehabilitating into the community. With a criminal record you may find it difficult to secure employment, become a volunteer and even travel out of the country. A Record of Suspension is an option to work towards eliminating those barriers to become an active citizen in your community and put the past behind you. To learn more about the effects of a criminal record and the application process please visit the Parole Board of Canada website.
EFry CB staff will assist with the Record Suspension application . For your convenience we have uploaded the following video "Tips for completing a Record Suspension application" from the Parole Board of Canada.
